Precision Shine is a 1:1 in-person training day for qualified nail technicians who want to refine their gel polish application, improve product control and understand why seemingly small mistakes can affect the finished service.

Gel polish can look simple.

But creating a thin, even, controlled application that sits beautifully around the cuticle, cures correctly and wears well requires much more than knowing how to paint a nail.

During Precision Shine, we look closely at the entire service — from natural nail assessment and preparation to base application, colour placement, brush control, curing and finishing.

The focus isn't simply on making the gel polish look clean on the day.

It's understanding why you're doing each step and how your preparation, product quantity and application choices affect the finished result and its longevity.

We'll look at common problems such as shrinking, wrinkling, chipping, uneven colour, bulky application and product flooding — and learn to identify what may have caused them rather than automatically blaming the product.

What we'll cover

• Natural nail assessment before application • Correct natural nail preparation • Understanding how preparation affects adhesion • Base coat application and product quantity • Gel polish consistency and product behaviour • Brush control and precise colour placement • Clean application around the cuticle and sidewalls • Creating thin, even layers • Working with highly pigmented colours • Understanding curing and the importance of correct lamp use • Preventing shrinking, wrinkling and uneven curing • Avoiding flooding and unnecessary bulk • Top coat application and finishing • Understanding common causes of chipping and premature wear • Troubleshooting gel polish problems • Adapting your application to the natural nail and product you're working with

Who is Precision Shine for?

Precision Shine is designed for qualified nail technicians who already perform gel polish services but want their application to become cleaner, more controlled and more consistent.

It's particularly suited to technicians who struggle with application close to the cuticle, uneven colour, product flooding, bulky finishes, shrinking or chipping — or who can create a good result but don't always understand why the same technique behaves differently from one client or product to another.
